Our Conflict Free Mineral Policy
RIAN RESOURCES SDN. BHD.is committed to ensuring that the products it sells do not incorporate "conflict minerals," which are minerals sourced from entities which directly or indirectly finance conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo or adjoining countries. The SEC's Conflict Minerals Rule requires SEC registrants who manufacture or contract to manufacture products containing conflict minerals that are necessary to such products' functionality or production to disclose the origin and status of the conflict minerals.Our Policy Statement
RIAN RESOURCES SDN. BHD. POLICY FOR SOURCING CONFLICT MATERIALS
Rian Resources Sdn. Bhd. shall always use and process tin products from RMI certified tin smelters:A. Being compliance at all times with 3TG conflict material as per section 1502 of the Dood Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumers Protection Act of 2010. In particular origin from the Democratic Republic of Congo and its adjoining countries.
B. Being dilligent to ensure the tin products are traceableto RMI certified tin smelters in accordance with the "OECD Due Dilligence for Reponsible Supply Chain of Mineral from Conflict-Affected and High Risk Areas" to establish conflict minetal management mechanism.
C. We promise NOT to process 3TG that directly or indirectly benefit armed groups that are perpetratorsof human rights abuse from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). To other origins, we'll require all neccessary documentation certificates complying to EICC-GeSI conflict free rules.
Rian Resources Sdn. Bhd. makes the following commitments of not supporting
- any forms of torture, cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment
- any forms of forced or compulsory labor
- the worst forms of child labor
- other gross human rights violations and abuses such as widespread sexual violence
- war crimes, or other serious violations of international humanitarian law, crimes against humanity or genocide.
